Metaskills4CLF
The European textile, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) sector comprises more than 220,000 companies, mostly SMEs, and employs nearly two million people. Although it has made progress in sustainability and digitalization, it still needs resources and training to achieve the European goals of climate neutrality and digital transition. In this context, initiatives such as Skills4Smart TCLF Industries 2030, the Skills Pact, and, more recently, the METASKILLS4TCLF project have emerged, created to reduce the skills gap and support the sector’s evolution towards more circular, digital, inclusive, and competitive models.
